Last night's rain brings the Farmington to a nice medium 400cfs. Look for the level to drop off rapidly throughout the day now that the rain has past. Streamers would be my first pick today with the higher flows to spur the aggressive fall trout. Use brighter colors in your streamers including yellows and oranges for best effect. We have had some great afternoon hatches of Blue Wing Olives #22-24 this week along with some Rusty Spinners in matching sizes. Winter Caddis #20-24 have been hatching early to mid morning.
